Do you know where it is situated? As you may know, France is divided in 101 department. This one is in the North of France, close to Belgium and it's prefecture (main administrative center) is the city of Laon. As with many other French dpartements, it was named after a river which runs through it. Other notable towns are Soissons and Guise, both
